Water Environment & Reuse Foundation

 

The Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF) is a nonprofit organization officially formed as the result of the merger of Water Environment Research Foundation and the WateReuse Research Foundation.  They sponsor the Leaders Innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT) program -- a multi-pronged initiative undertaken by WE&RF and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).  The goal is to help bring new water technology to the field quickly and efficiently.   In January 2017, Pellucid Water's application to the WE&RF - LIFT Technology Scan program was accepted.

Pellucid Water is now listed among other emerging technologies on the LIFT-Link website.  WE&RF members may review information supplied to LIFT by Pellucid Water in conjunction with the WE&RF - LIFT Technology Scan program, along with updates as new information becomes available.

The Water Council

Pellucid Water is a member of The Water Council an organization established in 2009 by Milwaukee-area businesses, education and government leaders. Its mission is to align regional resources into a nationally and internationally recognized water technology cluster.   The Water Council is composed of water technology companies, innovative water entrepreneurs, government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO), academic research programs and water professionals.

The BREW Business Accelerator

Pellucid Water is an alumnus (2014) of The BREW (Business Research Entrepreneurship in Wisconsin) Accelerator -- a program developed for emerging companies in the water sector.  This is a cooperative program between The Water Council, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation - Seed Accelerator Program, and the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Institute for Water Business.
